1. Who may use the website

The website introduces Smartcognis, our capabilities, working approach, perspectives and selected project examples. Content is provided for general informational purposes. It is not legal, financial or other regulated professional advice, and it should not be treated as a promise or guarantee of results.

Marketing and search outcomes depend on factors outside our control. Case studies describe particular contexts; past outcomes do not ensure the same outcome for another organization.

No other license is granted. Smartcognis names, logos and brand elements may not be used to imply endorsement or affiliation without written permission.

You retain ownership of material you send us. You give us permission to use it as reasonably necessary to respond, evaluate an opportunity and operate the requested interaction, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Do not send material you are not authorized to share. An initial enquiry does not create a confidential, fiduciary, advisory or client relationship. If information requires special confidentiality, contact us first so appropriate terms can be agreed.

If you voluntarily provide general feedback about our website or services, we may use it without restriction or payment, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from the public website will be limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us specifically to use the website during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Services and separate agreements

A website enquiry, meeting, proposal or estimate does not obligate either party to proceed. A service engagement begins only when the relevant parties enter a written agreement. That agreement controls the scope, fees, ownership, confidentiality, data processing, warranties, liability and other terms of the work.

We may update the website and these terms. Revised terms take effect when posted, with the updated date shown above. Your continued use after that date means the revised terms apply to subsequent use.
