Homebook.ae launched in Dubai with a focused proposition: rooms and studios for rent. It had less than 100 organic visits per day and faced established platforms such as Bayut, Dubizzle and Property Finder.

Smartcognis set the strategic SEO direction across commercial intent, technical performance, Core Web Vitals, Google Business Profile and schema. Homebook reached around 3,000 daily organic visits and top-three positions for “rent room in Dubai” and “rent studio in Dubai.”

A new brand needed to compete before it had accumulated authority.

The content team understood the Dubai market, but a modified WordPress theme created slow pages, unnecessary assets, mobile friction and weak Core Web Vitals. The strategy also needed to avoid spreading effort across every real-estate category.

01 / Market

Established rivals

Large platforms already owned domain authority and broad rental demand.

02 / Performance

Theme overhead

Slow templates and unnecessary resources limited user and search experience.

03 / Focus

Rental intent

The brand needed a narrow, commercially meaningful entry wedge.

Choose one market wedge, then make every layer support it.

The programme connected search demand, technical delivery and local presence rather than treating them as separate tasks. A familiar engineering team made implementation faster and less ambiguous.

01 / Focus

Own rental demand

Room and studio rental queries in Dubai became the primary commercial target.

02 / Speed

Improve the platform

Theme overhead, resources, mobile experience and Core Web Vitals were addressed.

03 / Localise

Build trust signals

Google Business Profile and structured data strengthened local and entity understanding.

A new entrant reached the front of a crowded market.

Homebook grew from fewer than 100 to around 3,000 organic visits per day and reached positions one to three for key Dubai rental queries, in some cases above established competitors.
